Silk threads
Genuine silk thread is finer than ordinary polyester sewing thread and is noticeably softer and lighter. This makes it a perfect match for fine, light fabrics that you don’t want to weigh down. Use it for sewing fine fabrics or for finishing work like invisible hems and French seams. Silk thread, unlike polyester, can be dyed, so it works very nicely in projects that you plan to color or paint once they are sewn. Silk thread can be used for machine sewing and hand stitching.
